I saw your auction. I'm always on the prowl for Spikes, but the larger ones. The one I currently have is 11/16ths, and I'm not at all sure they were made any larger.
Yours is a very nice looking and will be a great catch for someone. They are great shavers.

Cheers Alan. Yeah I know, post costs suck.
Aussie dollar is up a bit so I can do freight for AUD$21, not much better but $15 US is better than $19 US. Can't compete with local post costs tho.

I have the same prob buying from US. Some guys charge US $27 for freight & some US $5.
I don't trust uninsured mail for my sales any more unless it's a cheapie.

    yeah,

the Oz strikes back! I saw that one and it caught my eyes because of the beautiful restore work and the satin finish done to it.

I agree! Was going to say it's satin-like in the photo. Sweet in any case... Just might bid that one. I can't seem to use the meat cleavers yet - this one looks about right at 9/16. Well if you wind up shipping to Colorado you'll know I got it! I'll hold you to the AUD$21 for shipping if I win it though :-) Damn! And I was projecting to stay under my SR budget this month, even after sending my bi-weekly tribute to Lynn!

It's no challenge to use. You'll be fine with it.
No problemo on the postage. Every dollar helps, I know

Well Onimaru it looks like an Ebay Noob just bid past what I can shell out for it this right now. Hope it's a member here! It's starting to get up there some though. Well... there's always tomorrow and a fresh attack of RAD... :-)

He's an Aussie so postage cost is not such an issue for him.
I hope it keeps going but I do have a vested interest like hours of work

Fresh attack of RAD eh ? Place another bid (Mandrake gestures hypnotically)

Only old farts know who Mandrake is
