I came across a webpage that purports that Robert Herder is still in business.
If the pic was better we could see the logo. If it is a Herder there would be a windmill on it. No where on the site that I found did they mention str8s.

You're right of course. I missed the dates. I was thinking this was NOS that had just had scales put on.
The original company was in business 1894 - 1929 I thought they were referring to stock from this brand. In 1980? Obviously not.
