Thread: We Don't Give no Steenking Details!

I was taking a break for some yard work and decided to look at what lots of razor are showing up on the bay. I came across this auction and had to laugh. Seems the seller is hard core about not being willing to provide any details about what he's selling. I was tempted to respond with a note containing something to the effect of: "Details not given? Bid not given!

So we get a fuzzy pic of the scales and a closeup of only the best tang engraving... Obviously the seller takes offense at any attempt to ascertain the condition of the items.

Up for auction is a 4 pair lot of vintage/antique straight razors. All show varying degrees of age and wear. This lot is being sold as is. Details regarding individual razors are not given.

there's two pages of pics, fyi. and they're all clickable for larger versions. he shows all tangs, all scales and all blades in better detail than most other lots (when photos are magnified).

Pics, yes.....but only of one side of the blade, and certain parts of it....

It all just struck me a somewhat evasive - even with the photos. I guess sometimes how we word something makes all the difference!
