    Default That poor, poor W&B...

Just saw this as I was browsing the bay:

WADE & BUTCHER 7/8" RIDGEBACK STRAIGHT RAZOR HORN HAND - eBay (item 250424289395 end time May-18-09 16:01:06 PDT)

Looks like someone sandblasted the blade.

I placed a small bid on it just for the novelty of the size, but was outbid rather quickly. Hopefully the winner can bring it back to life.

Maybe it was dipped in acid?
    Might be salvageable.

    Default Ouch

I saw this while on my quest for a meat chopper. This seems like it is beyond repair, but who knows? I think calling it sandblasted is being kind...

Which most of the pits look shallow and with time and patience it could be removed. Time though is the operative word.
