I don't know about Turkey, but I'm in the region, and I've had packages I sent to the US take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks to arrive.
Come to think of it, one may have taken closer to 8 weeks.

Thanked: 3795That's the thing, it does not affect the seller in any way other than to put a hold on his payment. There is no feedback/reputation issue at all. A shipment may genuinely be delayed or lost in transit through no fault of the seller but if you wait 45 days before complaining, you're out of luck. If the item shows up, you notify ebay and the seller gets his money. If it does not show up, you get your money back and the seller deals with the shipping recovery and/or monetary loss, not you.
Putting in the report protects you and does not impugn the seller.

I think I may just need to do that. I bought a Morley Chopper and got 2 Durham Duplex.

I picked up 5 or 6 razors from Nazo in the past - all earlier this year. I'd buy from him again. I've gotten my stuff in relatively short timeframes considering it's shipping from Turkey. If it hits over 3 weeks though I'd start to be concerned.
He's been reputable for me so far though. Sounds like the postal system but if I recall, he ships via registered mail so there should be good tracking internally to the Turkish and US systems as all those guys have to sign and acknowledge the package moving through their buildings.

Paypal ruled in my favor this morning and said they would put the funds in my account within 5 days. I feel bad for the seller as I don't doubt that he mailed it but after 1 week shy of 2 months and no sign of the tracking # in the USA system I am glad that Paypal backed me up. If it should miraculously show up I will pay the seller once it does but I think it is probably lost or pilfered.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 156Since you brought up the thread again. Even though I did receive my razor from Nazo, after getting it to shave ready condition, I cannot recommend him. At least for razors that are under $100 or not NOS. It took forever to hone and a while to get to me. In the end it was not worth the money I paid. At least to me. It would probably be fine if I were a collector.

6/8 Dorko $70
7/8 Elosef $35
5/8 Iberia $40
All showed up in good shape and are in my rotation. FWIW, my luck has been OK. I think he isn't going to accept my offer on his Dovo, but he has another 24 hours to go.

I too am still batting a thousand with Nazo. He's so far taken all of my offers an sent exactly what I expected to get.
Jimmy I'm sure glad to hear you got refunded. Unfortunately no razors - but it's good to hear you'll send the cash to him should they arrive. I hope we're all as stand-up about things like that! I like to think that as a community here that we're setting the example of honesty an integrity for those to follow. Good show man!

I have bought three razors from this seller. One arrived within a week, nice Filarmonica at a good price. The other two, however, have not yet arrived and it has been almost 2 months. Seller has said he filed papers with USPS claiming lost item. It makes resolving things a little more difficult that this seller is not fluent in english. I waited over 45 days to bring up the problem with eBay or Paypal, thinking it is just taking a while to come from so far; don't make this mistake, you will not have an easy time gettting your money back from them unless you file within 45 days, as other posts in this thread point out. Possibly, the items are stuck in customs? I've bought a lot of razors from international sellers on eBay, and this has never happened to me before. I will update this post if I receive these items.

Well, as posted above I received my refund but so far , over two months later, the razor has never shown up. Just one of those things. I too have ordered from international sellers, either through the internet or ebay, many times with no problems until this one went awry.
