Thread: New ebay auction page

I don't have a choice. I am so far stuck with the new ebay "shop, bid and buy item page". Here is a tutorial that shows it. Among other things it uses flash player to display photos much the same as our classifieds. You can enlarge them to some extent but as far as I know you can't copy them. There are other things about it I don't like that I won't go into. I'm not sure if this is coming to everybody. I have a couple of friends who still have the same old page. I hope it is a feature that doesn't get off the ground and they leave the old system as is.

Yeah, I've got that damn thing, too. I mean, what idiot thought that it would be a good idea to have small pictures of the item you're interested in purchasing? You're supposed to be able to enlarge the pics by clicking on them, but my pop up blocker stops this most of the time, it seems. Even if it worked right its an unnecessary and bothersome step. I emailed their support, if I'm stuck with it I plan on using the "send us your comments" link every time I get annoyed with it, which will be often.

I do have kind of an out, for a little while at least. I use Opera as well as Firefox, and I get the old page in Opera. Opera doesn't have image zoom though, which I use all the time on ebay.
