I'm curious what you guys make of this piece. I can't find much on it anywhere. He's local so I might be able to check it out first.

If you can check it out, that is probably ideal. My concern is the single photo -- it there some hideous rust on the other side? Also, is the edge ipped near the tip, or is it just JPEG artifacts from the small photo size?

The other concern is does the razor & box match. Lots of times, razors & boxes will be mixed, especially when being sold on eBay (e.g., estate sale finds). However, I've found tha German-brand razors are fien for shaving once properly cleaned and honed.

I almost bought that one about four months ago... I asked the seller for more info and maybe a better picture, but he never replied. I didn't feel like pursuing it after that.

it seems that razor has been for sale on EBay for like a year or so? It pops up from time to time???

I asked the guy about it and he responded by complaining that lots of people ask about it, and took the auction down. Hmm...
