Does anyone use Vendio? Auctiva charges now
I don't sell things that often on Ebay. I've been an Ebay "seller" for about four years now and between buying AND selling, my total number of transactions is 104. Power seller I am not.
I loved using Auctiva for listing Ebay items because I could add like 24 supersizable pics and create the listings.......for free; I only paid the Ebay and Paypal fees. Listing through Ebay means only a few pictures for free and normally I like to have many many many pictures of the items I sell.
Auctiva is now charging for all Ebay listings and I don't want to sign on for a monthly service. I don't sell enough for that.
I see Vendio has some offer through 2009 if you sign up before 7/1 where you can have free unlimited listings. Has anyone used Vendio? How many pictures can you add for free to an Ebay listing created in Vendio?
Thanks.

Starting a few weeks ago, all items listed in "Collectibles" (that includes straight razor categories), are allowed up to 12 images for free.
Just thought I'd chime in -- I have no clue on the vendio thing though

Everytime that I "proceed to check out" using Auctiva, as a buyer it's a pain. The Auctiva check out system doesn't recognize my ebay settings and, even if I am allowed to specify a different shipping address in Auctiva, the seller will receive the default Paypal address (that is a problem since my Paypal account is italian but I need shipping to USA; also Paypal doesn't permit a shipping address outside my country).
So, if you are a seller, I encourage you to use the standard ebay system that works perfectly in all circumstances!

Thanked: 0Number of images for Vendio
Chris,
Thanks for the question. Vendio provides 2Gb of images as a part of the free offer (for this year and $10/ month in 2010). If you have a large image, it is maybe 1Mb meaning that you can have 2000 large images for free. Most people use images around 50k each meaning they can store 40,000 images. Let me know if you have other questions.

I avoid auctions listed with either vendio or auctiva. I hate the slow checkout, all the steps and especially entering my info/password in a non-ebay screen.
If I see the logo for vendio or Auctiva I usually move on.

Dang nabbit, Auctiva.....good for listings as a seller (who wouldn't want 24 pictures and close ups of a razor if they were a buyer. I know I would) but crappy for the buyer? Bummer. I had no idea.
I guess I've never purchased anything that was listed with Auctiva or Vendio then since I've never experienced what you describe.
