Default I think I got a pretty good deal

    Hey all,

So what do you think of this razor? Crown Razor Co. Straight Razor with box on eBay.ca (item 150355608051 end time 06-Jul-09 10:00:38 EDT) I put a low maximum bid on it last night and I was the first bidder. When I got up this morning I saw that I had won and only had 1 bid against me, and hadn't even reached my maximum!

I think it looks to be in pretty good condition and perhaps only needs a light sanding/polishing, for the scales also maybe. But nonetheless, I think $14.50 is a good price. Plus, I get a nice box out of it.

Anyways, just wanted to share. I think it'll make a great shaver, but there's only one way to find out!

P.s. This will be my first American razor.

This one will clean up to a mirror finish.

    Great catch Dave.

I had a crown razor extra hollow round point I sold recently. It took a bit of soul searching before I decided to let it go because it was a very smooth shaver and was a razor that was in my rotation for some time.

I think you'll be very happy with that one and I think you got a great deal.

is it the pictures or do I see a frown?

    Looks nice, either way.

    I think it's the pictures.

I looked at the pictures again, and I don't really see a frown. If there is one it's very slight at the most since I really can't tell from the pictures. Even if it does have the slightest frown I'm sure I can deal with that somehow.
