Post delayed or lost?
I am waiting on a Genco coming from the US to the UK and it was posted the day after a member of the straight razor place, also from the US, posted his.It is now four days later than the one from our member.
the thing is, I read om the 'net that people have found their stuff being sold on ebay after it had been reported missing.
I know I'm very impatient.
What is the longest you've had post delayed or have you had it lost?
Now that I think about it, I'm glad I did get my other razor from the str8t razor place safe and sound since the one delayed so far only cost £12.

There are several possible reasons for this. As this is being shipped international it is not uncommon for thing to take 10-14 days or so to get there. Also if the seller did not complete the customs information that can also cause a delay. I would wait until 14 days have passed and if you still do not have the item contact the seller to have them investigate. If you do not see the razor delivered or hear back from the seller within the next 7 days then I would request a refund or ask ebay to get involved to resolve the issue

You don't mention how long it's been since it was shipped.
In any international shipment, the number of days in transit can vary greatly. Many different factors come into play, customs being the most unpredictable.
I generally assume international shipments (even just USA to Canada) will take about two weeks. Sometimes, it's three or even four weeks.
No need to jump to conclusions just yet. It'll probably arrive eventually.

Yea, unless it was shipped EMS it can take awhile and even so it can be delayed in Customs. I've had things shipped within the U.S via priority mail which is supposed to take 2-3 days anywhere in the lower 48 take over two weeks.

I hate getting things through the mail but until we invent matter transporters I guess I'm stuck.
I was stationed overseas and had to use APO (military post) and it was horrible. Basically once the parcel reached N.Y. the transaction was considered complete, since you can't track military flight patterns, so I never even bothered w/ insurance.
Packages are loaded onto a plane until it is full and then flown over. So unless both packages make it onto the same plane they very rarely arrive in the same time frame. The next plane can take anywhere from a few hours to days depending on flight schedule (whether delays, repairs, etc) this is why some packages arrive in a few days and others take weeks.
one package I thought had been lost then out of nowhere 2 MONTHS! later it arrived safe and sound
So I agree w/ carriem wait 14 days contact seller see if they can track it to at least the east coast and see if it was loaded. Then add another 7 days before panicking.
Also I never ordered regular international but in the states when you insure something they say how long you have to wait till you can file a claim. It's 21 days in case some are wondering, I found out personnaly since a razor I sent to Ron for honing took almost 18 days to get to him grrrrrrr.
k I'm done venting I'll step down now
have patience........and luck!

I live in Japan, and I've had packages from the US take anywhere from 6-25 days. If it hasn't arrived in a month, then you might consider it lost, but give it time. It's a big world.
On another note, the fastest international package I've ever received was from Turkey--4 days!!!!

First off let me admit that I'm terrible when it comes to waiting on post 'cause I'm not in control.
I based my concerns on the fact that I received a razor posted on Thursday 22nd july and arrived on the following tuesday. The one still to come was posted only one day later 23rd.so I wondered why it was late.I hasn't been long really so I'll wait till at least 12th Aug. I'd say the first one, Ray's (from classifieds) parcel was quick.I'm glad that one got here safe and sound.
Ok,where did I put me chill pills?

Hope your package comes soon.
