    Looks like celluloid to me. I have one with genuine tortoise and the only way I know that is because it tends to delaminate along the edges. It is cut into thin strips and laminated with heat and pressure when they fabricate it into shapes.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Yea I thought so myself but that 4th picture really makes it look like aged tortoise shell.

    Celluloid, but a very nice tortoise shell pattern. Wish I had a Winchester razor! (tears drip on the keyboard...sniff) Congratulations on finding a pretty rare blade.
