I'll never understand why guys link auction items like this.
I know we all spend a lot of time on eBay, but there's a chance (albeit slight) that a razor may go under the radar allowing for deals... Of course, I wish Buddel all of the best in getting top dollar for his razor

Also, that is Manfred selling the razor and not Gabor (Buddel). But I agree, that is one sweet razor, good luck in the auction!

OK, I changed my mind. You can have it. I'm the proud owner of this badass little work-in-progress, so the W&B can go to another home.
I only need one giant wedge, I think.
Thanks for holding off for me, if any of you did!

Very nice Greaves. I haven't got one with the foils for my own rotation yet...

Holli are you still grabbing Greaves? I picked up a really nice one last week that I'm working on this weekend but just realized I was hanging back until you got all of them you wanted. Anyway, This one is a sweet blade so I think I'm set for Greaves for a little while anyway. Trashed scales but perfect blade shape, size, grind, and condition. I'm thinking I may finish working on the blade and send it to Max for some black Micarta....

If I see a Greaves that I like and can afford, there's a pretty good chance I'll try. I have a bunch in my rotation of keepers (5 that I can think of off the top of my head), making them the most represented brand.

Holli here's the Greaves I snagged. Straight Razor (Wm Greaves & Sons) - eBay (item 250502953054 end time Sep-27-09 14:44:41 PDT) Not sure how it looks to you in the photos but all I had to do was apply a wee bit of MASS and a bit of clean cloth and it shined up nicely. I love the grind and it handles well. Seemed to have a good edge already. All I had to do was give it about 12 passes on the Escher and another 14 on chromium ox and it was good to go for stropping and shaving. The scales need replaced but I wanted to see how it shaved before I bothered. First rate all the way! I'm just about convinced that some black linen micarta is the way to go with this one.
