Thread: post links to broken razors

Hi!

A while ago I got a japanese straight and get great shaves with it. I suspect it's partly due to the short blade (beside other things).
So, now I'd like to buy a cheap razor and use a dremel to shorten it.
Could you please post links of broken razors that could be shortened- only the toe half should be broken. Or if you have a cheap one to offer. I'm looking to spend 10 dollars max.

I've tried searching but with 0 results

I'll try - but normally I see them with titles that say RARE! or AMAZING! Perfect Shape or MINTY. I come across them normally after I see a photo that has a blade shape that looks unique - until I click into it and see that half the blade is missing, or, there's a pea sized chunk missing that was hidden by a towel. I sometimes get so ****ed that I fire off a message to the seller asking how they can call that POS "perfect".

One other path you may want to try if the short blade seems to work well for you is to look for small "travel" straights that get offered sometimes. I picked a few up out of curiosity but have not gotten around to sharpening them up to try them yet. Next time I'm digging through the "Needs Honing" stack I'll send the name of a few to you.
