Looks like he's selling that pickup as well - one piece at a time! Literally :-)

Thanks Hornm - that's hilarious! Though, it sort of made me feel guilty or ashamed or something... I started looking at my box that says "needs work" that's filled with 4/8 and 5/8 "...looks great considering it's age..." type of razors that found their way to my doorstep during the first few months of RAD.

See I've gotten pretty lucky with the razors. I've stated in other posts that all I currently have running is the shavette that I've been using since I started str8 shaving full time back in March. I've got some that need a little clean up & honing but after searching some of the antique shops around where I lived (and luckilly even without any knowledge I knew the razors I had been finding to stay away from). I came across this forum. After spending a bunch of time looking over as many of the do's & do-not's when I finally got around to e-bay it made my purchasing ventures a little less disastrous. Not going to say that I haven't gotten screwed on a couple but it could have been a lot worse (I had orignially checked out some of the zeepk & venus razors thinking "wow great deal, better than spending $100 bucks on a DOVO"). If your going to learn anything in life you might as well expect to loose at least a few bucks on your journey.
