    The shape kinda reminds me of some scyth hones that people have been posting about recently. (I don't remember where, but I do remember seeing them)

    It's the same shape as the old soapstone hones you see, but the tip is broke off on one end. The stone doesn't look like soapstone though.

    At first I thought it was a rough-in for a set of stone scales - and then I thought maybe a coffin for a blade but don't see a seam. But I guess it's one of those things in the video. Sham it looks like you're still feeding your HAD brother! :-)
