Strop Table Lamp
I didn't realize you could purchase a strop lamp. The bottom must be leather and the top linen. No need to find somewhere to mount it, and you'll be able to see what you're doing. A win/win. I think I'm going to get one for every room in the house, then I can strop just about anytime and anywhere. This is awesome!!!

I hear that no matter your skill level, every stroke with the strop table lamp is a light stroke

The base is of the highest quality bull leather. And at 20 inches wide even that rare old shaving knife abomination thing that pops up on the bay every few weeks could be stropped without having to angle it. Heck you could strop a hunting knife straight-on with that! Too bad my wife won't let me select furniture - it's manly and useful too! Oh well.

She'd just make me feel like crap - and go out and buy a new one. Now the starter-wife would have been a different story altogether! There would have been a sharpness test of the blade :-O
