Thanked: 1Henckels Friodur
Hi
I registered as a newbie a while back and posted some questions about some razors I inherited from my in laws. I listed a Henckels Friodur 50 1/2 on Ebay yesterday and they kicked it back because i used the word Ivory in my listing. I really have no clue how to word it?
Here are some pics anyone want to help out with how I can revise the description for buyers? As you all know I dont shave, never have and have a beard! Ironic really. they are all beautiful though.

Thanked: 1maybe
maybe I should do better photos? The handle in this looks mashed but its actually from a very shallow depth of field (f1.4)
when you guys are buying razors what photos do you really want? Any specific shots that are critical for you? Close ups, etc.
thanks for any advice. I just want to be able to give collectors etc the BEST description, and most accurracy possible

Leave the word "Ivory" out. Ebay no longer sells products with ivory. Maybe call them cream or forget the color. As you probably know the scales aren't made of ivory anyway.
Pictures.... for people that use them, the blade is usually the most important part. I like to see both sides of the blade, straight on. It's also good in general to show the text on the tang and the scales as well.
Good luck with your sale.

use cream instead of ivory when describing the color, or make sure you clearly refer to the color, not the material, because the later is plastic.
take a look at bill ellis's guide on selling razors on ebay. you'll find it on ebay, username is urleebird.
