Another Confused seller
Think this Wade & Butcher is rare?It has to be.This guy says so 10 times in his description. It's also a Wedgewood grind, and the scales are made out of pressed bone and also pressed horn.Did I mention it's rare?

Thanked: 0I believe I actually know this guy...and he is well...ummmmm.... a "rare" breed.
Wish I was brave enough to ask $99.00 for one of my 2 dozen or so Wade & Butchers...even in better condition... how about I put one up for my normal $4.99 starting price?!?! But I need to remember to mention how rare it is...i mean... they are so RARE that ONLY have 2 dozen or so...
From my limited experience, and I am sure you guys have a lot more...its not so much that Wade & Butchers are rare. In fact, I see quite a few. I believe it is rare to find one that is in really good condition.
What is up with antique dealers thinking that just because they have something from the 1800s, that it means that it is rare? Or am I missing something???

Is it horn-bones... the bones that support the horns? That IS rare!
