Thanked: 85SCHMACHTENBERG BROS goes for big $$$ in bidding war
Did you guys notice this Schmachtenberg Bros. razor that recently sold on eBay for $696.62?! Unless I'm missing something and this razor was extremely rare, it looks like a case of a bidding war gone wild. I wish I could get these guys to bid on auctions that I list!

Some collectors go absolutely ga ga over raised relief celluloid scales. They seek them out and seem to desire them over other razors. Scales first, blade second.

On some of these I wonder if the seller ever sees the money.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I'm a collector as well as a user , and my max bid on that razor would have been $0.00 . No collector in their right mind would even bid on that razor , in that condition .
