everyone should post. the funny ads they come across...

I will admit, some of my favorite posts every day are the weird things people here find on ebay/craigslist.

That first one is especially funny....unclean hippies...hee!

I actually did some research on that Save-a-Blade. Local TV station did a big report on it and had the guys at Carnegie Melon scientifically test em.

Not only did it NOT resharpen the cartridge blades (all tests were checked on a GREAT microscope) but it actually dulled a brand new blade.

Of course, they also shave tested them, and found NO improvement...guess scams are all over the place...glad I switched

Well I certainly would hope some $20 as seen on tv automatic sharpener wouldn't give a razor a keener edge than the multimillion dollar machines that are used by the manufacturers.

But yeah, that thing always looked like hocus pocus to me, so I'm not surprised it doesn't work. Hell even automatic knife sharpeners, which is a much easier process to automate (although harder for a human to do) don't work worth a crap.

Also, the first thing I noticed was that the seller for the first listing didn't know how to spell "unkempt".
