Thanked: 96With the help of power tools this actually could be made into a servicable 2/8" Maybe even close to 3/8"... but honing would require either a VERY slow and steady hand or a 3"+ wide stone, as the tang would prevent a quick X pattern. Also, expect to spend at least an hour or two on a XX just wearing that spine down (unless you had a suitable belt sander alternative).
All told I'd expect 4-5 hrs to make it into a usable blade again, given my set of tools...
Of course I'd wear through 1-2$ in dremel sanding loops. And that's maybe $75-100 worth of work imho... all for a razor that you'd shave with for a laugh.
Yeah, unless you just wanted to prove you could do it. :P
