Thought I'd share this info for the HAD folks here.
I had a 5k Suehiro and it was great stone with the feedback of 1k. It was very fast cutter too.Stefan

Is Suehiro a brand of stone or a type of stone (or region, etc)? I have a 1000-grit suehiro with a Robert Larson Co. sticker that I got for about $20 at a local woodworking shop...is it the same Suehiro discussed in this thread? I guess it could make sense that if the 10K is $200, the 1K could be $20.
