"Condition Excellent -- Light Wear"
Ok, this one is really hilarious. I was just looking at eBay between calls, and this one popped off the page.
Seriously, read the description that goes with this one!!

You've got to admire the optimistic way they try to fool the buyers! Just avoid his items with "heavy wear" or, "a smattering of oxidisation" & you'll be fine!

Thanked: 259that shows that most people who sell straights on ebay do not have a clue as to what "little or no use" means..i bought a red imp wedge from a buyer for around $34 including s/h that was in mint condition, the seller said it had a stain(it wiped right off) and it had been listed for 27 hours and no one had bid on it and he changed it to buy it now for me..sometimes you win and most times you get taken, if you are not careful....

That razor is in great shape for nose hairs......better your nose than mine!
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

Some people call this lack of knowledge, but I think these people are actually dishonest. They seem to be in the antiques business, and I don't know how you could look at a razor with that shape and say that it has only "light wear"!!
Anyway, zero bids on this hot mess, so I guess no harm done. Maybe even the average eBay bidder can see through this cloud of bull.
Funny thing too -- the scales are actually pretty nice, and you could even see someone bidding for the razor just to get the scales, but the sellers aren't honest enough to describe the auction this way, which means that they don't even get a buyer they might have had legitimately!

Looks like the description was deleted.
So if we have smiles and frowns what do we call this.
Perhaps a sleepy-wink.

Similar ones
on spanish ebay. The seller says : "slightly oxydized"
This one on french ebay.
The guy states : "once closed in the scale, the damage on the blade can't be seen", and "although broken, the blade is rust-free".
He should be a politician !
and this one, still on ebay.fr
"it is a bit rusty and damaged"

I'm a little tired if these fraudsters, so i sent this:
Dear leonandjanet,
Hello,
Your description is either naive, or dishonest.
Hopefully the former. This razor has extreme wear,
to the point of being unusable for it's original &
intended purpose.
You really ought to amend it in case some poor
fool actually thinks they're buying something they
can use.
Sincerely
Ben
I received this reply:
Dear benm500,
Hi,
Did you have a bad day? I hope tomorrow is better.
