Do You Know This Seller?
Does anyone know this seller?
Antique Ontario Cut Throat Straight Razor~SHAVE READY* - eBay (item 270508613565 end time Jan-07-10 01:19:00 PST)
He certainly knows what he's talking about. I'm wondering if he's one of our members.

Yes he is RazorTalkin on SRP and a really nice guy and one of the best honers I know.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Well, RazorTalkin, if you're reading this, I have to say I'm impressed with what you sell. Unfortunately, my wife would seriously frown upon my spending money on another razor right now, but I will definitely keep an eye on your future auctions.

He is a real gent, and does great work to boot. If you ever buy from him, it will be with confidence. That said, I'm amazed by what some of his blades go for... Congratulations to him, it's because he has earned his reputation.

That's Quinton. I've never been lucky enough to win one of his, but have had a few email exchanges with him. He comes across as a real gentleman & a truly nice fella!
He's been honing & using straight's for 25 years or something like that & know's what he's talking about. Unfortunately for us, plenty of people have cottoned on to this, & his restorations have been making better & better prices recently!
He's pretty good responding, so any questions, fire them over to him.Last edited by ben.mid; 01-02-2010 at 04:43 PM.

Thanked: 27Thanks guys, for all the wonderful compliments! Wish I had more time to log in and chat with you fine gentlemen, however it takes almost all of my spare time to keep a decent inventory. I am always glad to answer questions though, and helping newbies has been quite satisfying as well. Thanks for all the support guys, and God Bless, Quinton

Quinton and his wife are among the top two or three sellers of restored razors on eBay, period. He is a true gentleman and great to deal with too. I have bought several excellent blades from him, and each one has shaved like a dream, so I recommend him highly!
