Thanked: 14Fell asleep...
Had been waiting a couple days to bid on this Filarmonica. Was reading a book, with the computer by my side. Must've passed out with about 3hrs to go. Jetlag got the better of me. Worst thing is I have been trying to get a Filly for about 2months, and this one got away at a steal compared to recent ones. Whoever you are... I hate you. Guess this is a sign I need to hold out for the EPBD that I really want.

Thanked: 1262Either snipe or set your max bid to what you are willing to pay

Thanked: 1Free eBay sniper. eBay auction sniping made easy. An eBay bid sniper - Home is another sniping service that you can use.
Just remember that regardless of when your bid is placed (sniping or bidding early), you still have to have the highest bid to win. UNLESS, 2 bids are the same or there's not enough of a difference between them to meet ebay's minimum bid increment. in this case, the first bid in wins.
Also, you should understand ebay's proxy bidding system and know their minimum bid increments, when sniping or buying on ebay period.
Here are links to the minimum bid increments:

Oh snap... if I had known I'd have picked it up for you (depending on what the other fella was willing to bid) I watched that one count down just to see where it ended

Thanked: 14Yeah, I usually snipe my own in the last seconds, but I may have to resort to a program if I really want it. A lot of these auctions end in the wee-hours of the morning for me. Thanks for the suggestions guys. Live and learn I guess.
