    Round, spike, spanish, barber notch, french, makes no difference to me. I wouldn't buy it because its 5/8ths.

    5/8 is on the thin side. good point. but a very rare blade nonetheless.

    I won't disagree, or be disagreeable. I purchase razors to shave with. While I have one or two that are rare, or at least not common, I still shave with them, so my preferred size is important.

    Go for it. For the price you could hardly go wrong.

    Could someone comment on this type of steel? How is it different that Sheffield/Solingen? Is it noticeably different - smoother/stays sharper longer, etc.?
