That's a corn razor. You know for the removal of corns on your feet. I have a few in my drawer in the office.

There are small razors out there: Torrey Little Guard, Korn "The Real" (and I think other makers made this same blade), DePew's, mini Robeson's, etc

i gotta take photos of my mk29s one of these days, they certainly look like they may be perfect for that kind of job.

Thanked: 137That's the best bit about me liking small razors - I don't have to snipe it out with the chopper lovers if I spot a small one I like the look of. I'm currently using a DE, not a straight (mine are all about ready for a honing, which I can't afford, and I have nowhere to hang my strop in my new place) but when I get back to using and acquiring straights, a De Pews is definitely on my list of ones to add, followed by as many small wedge ground blades as I can get my hands on.
BTW Holli, the Harris Bros wedge you sold me is still my favourite shaver - what progression did you use to hone that puppy? I want to try and get it as sharp as it was when I received it from you when I get my hones in and start resharpening my razors.
Sorry for the tangent guys, I'll try to stay on track from now on.

I can't say for sure, because I've varied up my hones a couble times, but it was probably of my BBW/coti and then a C12k. I'm glad to hear you are still enjoying her.
As much as I like big razors, I do find shaving with smaller ones a nice change of pace. I find that blades at or around 4/8 tend to be half hollow or fuller (I suspect because one would need itty bitty wheels to get a full hollow grind on such a small blade), and the stiffness coupled with the lightness and maneuverability is a very interesting experience to be sure.
