Default Decided to stop the masdness. Puma Gold lost.

Well, I just decided to stop bidding on a lovely Puma Gold!!! And I am not happy! Logic, or rather the thought of dropping $75 USD on this lovely razor and my wife kicking my ass, brought me to my senses.
    F@#k! Sh*t! Da*n it to Hell anyway!
I need a shoulder to cry on...actually, I think I will have a beer or two.

Just needed to vent a bit.
Thanks for yoru support in this time of sorrow.

    Cheers
    Scott

If it's any help, a mint Puma Gold is currently apparently worth about EUR 350. They are among the most sought after razors, not least because their slightly fragile gold wash makes them exceptionally rare in excellent or better condition. On the up side, apart from the looks, it's just a Puma. They're always overpriced on eBay, but you may get lucky with the Classifieds if you're very patient. I've been on the lookout for an excellent Puma 89 at a reasonable price for more than two years...

    Regards,
    Robin

Don't sweat it . I have 16 different razors that I shave with , and I wonder why . I have about 100 others that I don't and never will use . Too often we get caught up in a frenzy , when we see a razor that we think we MUST have . When in reality one or two (maybe three) is all we really need .

Pumas are very nice razors but for much less money you can get a razor that shaves at least as good or even better.

Puma Gold's are nice, but they're no Chronik.

Robin, I admire your patience and persistence. Ever heard of RAD?

    Too true!

After all, he sold his Puma Gold, but never the Chronik.

Sure. But I like to do things slowly and persistently, and I refuse to overpay (just like I hope to overcharge when selling). Several users were very kind to me, and sold me razors I really wanted for this-is-not-eBay-this-is-SRP-and-we-help-each-other-out prices. Greatly appreciated.

The result can be seen here. Those are pretty much the best I have, and it's taken me two years, and not too much money to accumulate: Robin's Shave Of The Day | Fashion fades, only style remains the same
