It has an english/german instruction leaflet. The leaflet states "This razor was made in cooperation of the famous blacksmith Shigeyoshi Iwasaki and his student Ryouichi Mizuochi, it is signed at the back of the blade"

If you want to see pics of the actual razor I have two in my gallery. I wanted one of these and broberbly paid over the odds. This did arrive shave ready and was an amazing shave
    That is seriously cool.

    Any chance of a scan?

Jim, I have found it to be fairly typical consideration that has bled over from other places. The guy who found my razors and requested the letter for me shaves with a M-R western razor, but he is not like you and me. He has only one razor. which may say a lot; or not.

Tony I saw your gallery pics yours is exactly similar to what I have sans the leaflet, which I have never seen described-pretty neat. You may have paid; but it only hurts once. Pretty sure you have a good thing=

I prefer to believe the aspects of even when under the control of a master "eyeballed heat treat" gets better with age. Or, I'm just not a new razor guy.

Actually you paid less than what it would've cost you to buy one from the us (after adding shipping an gst) or european retailers. You can buy a nice bottle of scotch, or two with the difference, or sake if you're into matching

I have scanned all the packaging and both sides of the leaflet. The are in my gallery, here

Straight Razor Place Forums - TonyF's Album: Forum Temp

Not the best of scans, but the only scanner we have at work

The leaflet is marked by the supplier, so obviously added by them not at point of munufacture. They are Dick fine tools, but have a lot of razors listed for some reason. www.dick.biz , under the knives/wet shave section.

Looking at there prices I didnt do to bad I saved about 50 eur (plus the shipping and uk taxes). i guess it would proberbly have cost around £270 GBP direct from them!
