Default World Master/Weltmeister O. Busch Any good?

What do people think of this lot? I like the scales very much especially. It looks in decent enough shape. Ive heard that its a very good shave.

Should I worry about that stratching on the right side of the blade. Would that just polish out with some high grit sandpaper?

Ask the seller to post pictures of the entire blade, front and back. We have some stuff in the Wiki about buying razors and which questions to ask a seller: The straight razor - Straight Razor Place Wiki.

Personally, I would not buy the razor based on the current ad if that helps any.

    The scales are very nice.

I think it would take a bit more than just high grit paper to get rid of the scratching - you would probably have to go to 400 grit or below and work your way up again, but would still have a job matching it in to the rest of the blade without buffing. And removing some of the etch in the process.

If someone can't be bothered to show both sides of the blade in their entirety there is usually a reason, so as BeBerlin says - ask for more pics and whether the blade has any damage - at least that way if he says no and there is some damage, you will have good grounds to ask for your money back.

    Regards,
    Neil
