I don't want to give away any trade secrets here, but it's not too difficult to get counterfeit goods like this pulled from eBay. The harder thing is to find out the source of the goods and shut that down too. These cases are fun, though, and I'd love to say that I did something to help out Dovo (and perhaps they'll pay me in Bismarcks!!). I don't know anything about contacting them, though, so maybe Don or Lynn or some other vendor here might want to let them know.

They have some email addresses listed on Dovo's main website.
But as mentioned, I'm sure Lynn or Don would have easier access to getting in touch with them.
I was just browsing ebay when I found em'. I didn't want anyone getting hosed by receiving a razor that wasn't authentic.

Thanked: 235I'm going to play devils advocate here.
It does say
Similar to DOVO stainless steel razor in all aspects.
Of course that doesn't excuse marking the tang with the Dovo stamp.

Just to be clear, you can't stamp "DOVO" on the tang and then advertise it as "just like a Dovo.". That's still trademark infringement.
Sometimes you get a more complicated situation, like where the same factory making legitimate products in China is also selling unauthorized copies out of the back door. The unauthorized copies are technically genuine, because they come from the same source, but most would argue that they are still infringing.
That's not the situation Dovo has, of course.

Here's ebay's policy on the matter:
"Items that bear a company's official brand name or logo can be listed as long as the products were made or officially endorsed by that company. For a safer buying and selling experience on eBay, we don't allow listings for counterfeit items, fakes, replicas, or unauthorized copies. Unauthorized copies include things that are backed-up, bootlegged, duplicated, or pirated—which are all illegal. These kinds of things may infringe on someone's copyright or trademark."
Here's the link where you can report counterfeit items:
