Here is the view from near the address printed on the box:

Apparently that shop address is about two blocks from the capitol building in Austin, TX. (sacred ground)

Add to that the Blue Bonnet is the state flower of Texas. (sacred flower)

You gotta be freakin kidding, right? $90 for a broken razor box?! Even if it was Sam Houston's own personal razor box, I still wouldn't pay one third of that price for a broken razor box. Wow.

Didn't you know? Well......."Everything's better with Blue Bonnet on it!
For the younger folks, that would be from the old TV commercial song about Blue Bonnet margarine.

    Just say no Sham!
I remember the jingle Croaker.. That was back in the day when TV actually went off the air. Not a bad concept.

I get a kick out of how many people are trying to sell lots of razor coffins on eBay as "RARE" and on top of that are asking double what any of us would pay for the razors that originally inhabited said coffins.

I think this is kinda like an auction I recently saw for a painting:

GETHSEMANE JESUS ANGELS GARDEN PAINTING ANTHONY FALBO - eBay (item 390059331481 end time Mar-11-10 19:28:43 PST)

Note the "bargain" BIN price of $21,000,000 (must have been on a free listings day). Further down in the add it says "Offers of $2,500 or higher will be considered." Well, at least he throws in free 2 day shipping. Hey, I think I'll offer him 50 bucks and see if it gets auto-rejected - or if i get hate mail. I hope I get hate mail :-)

IF is was this old. IF it was this rare. IF it's worth a starting bid of $90... why on earth is this fool handling it with his grimy, dirty, filty hands? Getting all that acidic oil on the object?

White gloves in the pic fool. Then people may think it's worth something.
