it ended at 270 but if you look down at the recommendation there is another one for 265 so far

That is correct as far as it goes ..... but it doesn't go very far in terms of enforcement. If you look at the bid history of the auction that ended and then the active one you will find that the person who withdrew the $505 bid has the same feedback number as one of the leading bidders in the current lifetime dd auction. Seven days to go on that one.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

you can withdraw your bids, i once bid on somthing i ment to put 10 but instead i bid 1000. so i withdrew my bid and bid again at 10 pounds.

I went into MyEbay and looks at some things I was bidding on, went through various options and menus fir a while and saw no option for withdrawing a bid or lowering my bid amount. How do you get to the option of withdrawing? I don't plan on using it, but i'd like to know it's there just in case. Thanks

One of the problems with doing a snipe in the last few seconds ..... I did a typo and bid way more than I intended. I didn't have time to correct it and won the item but for more than I would have been wanting to pay.
Now when I do a snipe I make sure of my bid amount before I hit the return key.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
