We should all get together and send a bunch of "realistic offers" see how it goes. At the very least it will bring him closer to reality.

Geez, that's insane. The first one doesn't even have any scales, and he's asking 3 times as much as I've seen shave ready vintage razors go for here.
On that second razor by the same seller... I'm trying to learn here, so I'm taking a guess... but is that cell rot? I see the nice neat line of pitting going across the blade, ending right above where the razor closes into the scales.

Nope,I don't think it can be celluloid rot since I believe these are translucent horn scales.More likely,in it's past life,it was closed and put away while still a bit wet and corrosion started at the scale line.
