Wasn't this razor for sale a while ago? I think it may have been reposted for less $, I guess it wasn't as valuable as he hoped, wonder how much it will be the next time he relists.

Kind of like me when I buy my weekly lottery ticket. Hell people have bought grilled cheese sandwiches on ebay that supposedly had an image of the blessed virgin and paid a lot more than that. One born every minute or so they say.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

So the "missing R" guy has already been mocked thoroughly in other threads here. It's funny, but c'mon, I feel kind of bad for the dude. He's obviously got a whole thing in his mind about the missing R, and that makes the razor valuable to him. I'm sure everyone here has a razor they prize WAY more than its market value for some dumb reason, so maybe let's not go too harsh on this guy. After all, it's not like he's misrepresenting the features or qualities of a razor, like so many unscrupulous eBay sellers. Sorry to bring everyone down, but merciless mocking without good cause kind of cheapens the tone here, at least in my humble view.

He could probably get more than half his asking price if he just did an auction with low start bid. The R thing is probably rare but doesn't mean it's a good thing. I have lots of razors with incomplete stamps and stuff not how it should be but I think everyone does.

I think you're mistaken. That is clearly a Wade & Butche that someone put in a Wade & Butcher case. Am I the only one who caught that?
