I agree. Another fellow taking a shot at finding a fool to part from his money.

From the viewpoint of restoring and reselling, I don't think that price is too bad. (it isn't great, though... kind of high) Now, if you guys who (as far as I know) buy to keep and use, the price is awful because you would still be investing mondo-bucks to get them scaled up.
All depends on the target market...

Thanked: 2591To me price looks high for restoration purposes, those need to come truly perfect to be able to make for the time and effort to restore. I would be ok with those being put to bid on, and starting bid of say half what he wants. Definitely out of question for someone that will buy and then send them out for restoration.

Just guessing but the seller probably got into razor resto and found it was more work than he wanted to put into it. His price is based on the value of the blades + his labor. From his point of view it might be fair but not from my point of view.

Someone with some time and talent can turn that $300 into $700.
That said, seems silly to do so when you can find blades for half of that price anyway. hehe.

Thanked: 1371It works out to about $40/blade. More than I'd pay for them, but I've seen a lot worse on Ebay.
The funny thing is, that if the guy would've set the opening bid lower, he'd probably end up getting that price for them.

Just went to take another look and it says that the item is no longer available. Maybe the gentleman reads this forum. He would be better served putting scales on each of them and selling them individually.
