Heavy pitting all the way to the edge. It would tale a lot of work to get most of the pitting out, a bunch more to get it all out if possible and the blade would be much shorter either way.

Yup, more work than I'd want, even at that price. It's the kind of stuff you'll develop an eye for as you gather more experience, but it only comes with time and trials by ebay fire.

Even without the pitting, you can't get them all. Aside from that, I have a Celebrated barber's use, and a for barber's use. An India Steel, a couple of W&B's with the Chinese marking including the heathen chinee ..... a couple of framebacks , and a nice "Lather Well, I'll Shave Well' .... not bragging but the point is ... as you acquire more you become more discriminating. Since I don't buy them to sell for a profit it has to be one hell of a razor for me to go for another W&B.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Right on, I stayed away from this one knowing that there were too many people on here that were also staying away for a reason. I came home and saw it ended and it really made me wonder...

    thanks for the responses!

That'd be nice to have a 7 day set of one type of razor... I started to do that with a particular boker blade about 4 years ago... I have 2 so far

Still looking though, good luck with your hunt!

I just missed it. I'm pretty sure I would have been dumb enough to buy it. I have one of those blades in the original black horn. It's my absolute favorite razor and I'd love to get it's twin.
