As bidder, this is what I do.

As a seller, I would decide what I want to sell that razor for, and set a BIN for that. I then set a starting bid that is say $20 below the BIN. I have found that makes it easier, psychologically, to nudge someone to hit the BIN. Assuming a realistic BIN, that is.
