I think it's wrong to stereotype all of those people. Not all of them are bad... Just the ones that are breathing.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Okay guys, I don't want to spoil the fun but you need to slow down and think about what you're saying. As much fun as it can be to poke fun, lawyers, politicians, the like keep the world running and are not crooks...

We have members here who are legislators and lawyers, and I don't think they would feel too encouraged by your remarks. Let's keep it gentlemanly and not sink into the same kind of a priori defamatory remarks that started this issue.

My remarks were meant in jest actually. Sort of a homage to Mark Twain's "Suppose you were an idiot. Suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself." No offense meant to those who practice the vocations I mentioned.

It is all in good fun. I think people in those professions expect to have jokes made about them... Much like people in law enforcement expect certain jokes to be made. I mean no offense to anyone by my above comments...

Well, other than three particular lawyers... I do mean offense to them. Those guys can go to hell and rot. That is, of course, only a reflection on the three individuals, not the industry as a whole.
