BOKER "Special" Question
Hi all,
I just acquired a Boker "Special" for around $50. What do you all think about paying that amount for this "fixer-upper"?
Scroll down the page half way to see it.
Your comments are appreciated!

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanks, Jimmy, for the reply and "kudos".
I think my new [old] razor will accompany my Brummel-Werk to Milwaukee when I ship to Lynn for repair/re-hone. He's going to "fix" the Brummel-Werk fiasco for me. Then he can re-hone the Boker too. Killing "two birds /w/ one stone" mentality.

PS....
Next time I have a question like this I will NOT post it. I will go str8 to Jimmy, or one of the others here "in the know" and use PM instead.
Sorry for wasting "bandwidth".Last edited by PLanzaSr1957; 04-14-2010 at 06:05 PM.

Plenty of bandwidth nowadays so post the question. As unbelievable as it may be ..... I am not always right. Also, and more importantly, others may have the same question but never ask. Reading your's and the replies also kills more birds with fewer stones. Good idea sending them to Lynn. They couldn't be in better hands.

Ya know, Jimmy, I had a teacher (back in the day) that said the exact same thing.
He said, and I quote:
"If you are unsure of something, raise your hand and ask. Even if you're embarrassed, ask. There might be several others in class with the same question and they will not raise their hand either, out of fear of seeming stupid. There is NEVER a stupid question if you don't know something!".
Yer dead-on (in target shooter lingo), sir!
Thanks for the encouragement to keep "raising my hand".
And ditto on the Lynn remark as well!
