Default Are these people sane ?

I have been following this auction and I can't believe where this W&B here is with two days to go. (Item number:110526447163) If I were to have put it up it would have went for a hundred bucks if I was lucky. They are cool razors but as the kids say, "they ain't all of that !"

Good thing!! Could you imagine what it would be going for if it was missing a B ?

Yea I saw that too and just wondered about how happy that seller must be. If you look at the bids, there was a pretty experienced ebay-er after this razor up till 521.

Beautiful blade in a great state but, in answer to the question, no they are not sane. Still it's their money and I wish I were the seller.

I spotted this one a day or so ago and I was going to post on it too..! Great minds Jimmy! Hehe!

That is a crazy price, it must be said. I know its in good condition, but come on..! Its their money I suppose, but thats waaaay more than I'd want to pay for it. I cant help but think it would be cheaper to get a similar blade and have it poished and restored, but maybe thats just me!

I saw it when it had been listed for about an hour. I asked if he'd consider a BIN. Knowing it would go high I was thinking $350? Sounded fair to me.
He replied "Unsure, prhaps only a strop would work.", so I left it at that!

Sane is a relative term. There are at least two people bidding close to that amount. I hope there aren't any more that that or I would loose faith in common sense. Two people with more money than they know what to do with is is more than enough. With that amount of 'determination' I do wish them luck!

It's a lot of money considering how plentiful these are. However this one is in a particularly good condition and is over 1". If I am a collector of these I'd most certainly want one like this and pay a premium for the condition, rather than settle for something that has been restored.
I'm actually more surprised at the money the ones with big hone wear go for, consistently at that.
