Sounds expensive. I'd not be too happy if it were coming in the other direction.
Why don't you pm Robin & see what he says?

A bit too much. Probably includes insurance and a guarantee for the seller that you've actually received it. Also, probably a private entreprise like DHL.
I live in Belgium, a country next to Germany so the cost should be comparable or slightly less in Germany. Sending a package up to 350 gr, including receipt for delivery and insured value up to 250 EUR would cost 20 EUR. Between 350gr and 1 kilo that would be 27 EUR. Cheapest package would be about 10 EUR but then there would be no package tracing, insurance etc. ... All this would be using official mail, anything private would cost more.

Thanked: 3164I just paid 25 euros insured shipping for 10 razors from Germany to the UK, and £22 insured shipping for 7 razors from Sweden to the UK, so it's not that far off the mark.
Regards,
Neil

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I've had that very thing happen to me. some guys charge as little as 5 dollars but some only send insured and usually use DHL he refered me to thier webpage and that was how much it cost. The ones you have to look out for are the ones who only do bank transfers you need to read the payment option before you bid, another thing is they might not want to bother shipping to the US. I had someone so nice though they waited for a personal check because he didn't have paypal, I guess it cost too much money to have paypal in Germany.

I recently bought a Zassenhaus 'Brilliant' coffee grinder from an ebay seller in Germany. It cost $18.00 USD shipped insured with expedited shipping and is substantially larger than 2 razors. I don't know if the seller of the razors is intending to overcharge on the shipping but I think that he is. Might be out of inexperience though.
