Thread: open_razor Ebay - still around?

Hi!

I'd like to buy the three hone sharpening set from this polish seller, but although I have sent him 3 messages with a few week increments on Ebay and one e-mail through this forum about a week ago there is no response.

Has anyone had contact - or better yet - business with him lately?

I see them on ebay or sale still.. and all his feedback is recent and good so it looks like he is still in business there.

I noticed that he listed a coticule just the other day on ebay. I've never dealt with him so can't advise from personal experience.

Thank you for your replies! Today I decided to try and buy but found out that he has blocked me either personally or based on my country. Oh well - he probably has his reasons.

This means I am short of a set of hones for my two razors. Any ideas how I should proceed with similar budget? I'll probably post a WTB on the classifieds at some point.

Sorry to hear that you ran into problems. Just to let you know, if for some reason he responds to your emails, I did do business with him recently. I purchased the Chinese 12K hone from him on the last week of April and it arrived yesterday. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it looks rather nice although a bit on the small side. All in all though I was pleased with the transaction.
