    Default Boxes?

I'm not looking to sell my boxes, nor buy any. I'm just curious, are they worth keeping? I have a few boxes, but mostly I keep my razors in toothbrush travel tubes, once I have restored them and put them into service. I see people selling them on ebay all the time.

I have soooooooooooo many. Mostly they just sit in larger boxes, but they are good for storing blades (keeps them closed and relatively safe) and can also be good for mailing. If you have the original boxes, it may be nice to keep those together (if that's something you care about).

I picked up a Robeson box for my growing collection of suredges... even though it's not a suredge box...

I do like keeping the two together though it's a nice touch but not sure (or care) if it adds to the value.

I've got a ton of them and I only keep NOS vintage pieces that I have never used in their boxes. I keep razors in drawers or in a machinist's tool chest. Old razor boxes are apparently a collector's item for some people.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I keep as many of them as I can. Some of my eBay razors came in old boxes that dont match up, but I figure I have to keep the razors in something!

The ones that came with nothing are now housed in toothbrush holders.

    I've kept all of mine.

Mark my words, eventually they will be hot collector items. Some collect them now.

If you throw away that reaper box don't blame me if in 20 years it's selling on Eboy for $500.00.

Call me obsessive or compulsive, but I like to have the coffins or boxes for my razors. It just makes storing them that much easier, and I don't have to worry about an inadvertent open blade hiding under a sock.

Mine are bagged and labelled by manufacturer on the bags. Hope they are worth something eventually, as I have two large plastic cases, full of razor coffins and boxes, plus a few dozen loose in my workroom. I LOVE the way the really old ones smell......

If I had a matching box in good condition I would keep it. So far I've only had one and I accidentally put it in the washing machine. SO! Going forward...
