did I do ok?
obviously I am very new to this forum and straight razor shaving, and last night I decided to pull the trigger on another razor, so, if it is infact chip and nick free as described, did I do ok?

That is a tearable razor and you should send it to me immediately for proper disposal.
Just kidding if it is in good shape i think you did pretty good. If it's not but is even fixable with not to much work I'd say it was still a descent deal.

Add twenty + shipping each way to a honemeister and you've got a fine shaver there. Looks good from the photo.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
