An Odd "Escher" ? On the Bay
I can't say it ain't but I can say that I've never seen a labeled Escher in which the label did not fit the entire back of the stone. Also as a rule they are 3/4" thick. I've never seen one a full inch. The fellow shows a stone with a label much smaller than the overall size of the one in the photo. Then he goes on to say that stone that is for sale doesn't have a label. A curious offering. Here it is. Item number:110543126427. I've never dealt with the seller and he does have 100% feedback so I'm not saying anything against him. Just that it is an unusual stone if it is an Escher.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 480Hes not selling the stone with the label. He just placed that stone there for comparison to the smaller stone with no label.
Maybe his labeled stone is authentic, maybe its not, but if its not for sale, the point is moot! moat? mooooooooT! Its late, and I'm making cow noises.
Methinks its bedtime.

I agree with Jimmy -- very confusing listing. Seller also says that you can use the Escher with oil?!? Is there anyone at all who has not seen the instruction on every single Escher stone that the stone must NOT be used with oil? Anyway, the label looks strange to me too, but I would defer to others who own far more of these rocks than I do!

Thanked: 480his "use with oil" cautionary note, is a template. The exact same wording has been on all of his stones for sale. (I have watched them for some time now)
