probably a collector. I wouldn't pay that much for a DD for use.

I had this one on watch to see where will it go, definitely not worth that kind of money to me.

I love my current DD, but that's way too rich for my blood. I watched--in amazement!

Well, it's an NOS razor. Maybe someone loves OEM razors that were potentially ground by Dovo apprentices? In the world of straight razors, you should always expect the unexpected.

It's like opening a Christmas present but in this case you bought it yourself and don't know what's inside and as soon as you open it the value decreases by at least a third.

Someone obviously wanted it a lot more than I did.

I hope for that guy's sake it's not a bag of rust. Given the others weren't I'm sure it's ok. If I spent that much on a razor I'd shave with it twice a day and no matter what I'd lie to myself that it was the best razor on the planet so I could sleep at night.
