Yep. But for $14 dollars you learned a quick lesson many of us have had to go through.I would suggest that you don't try to shave with it,as it could give you a nasty rip.

just send a quick message to the seller to cancel your bid, if e does not respond, then you are in with a few bucks.
on another hand almost half the blade width is hardly a small crack...

Indeed. You won't be so quick on the trigger next time.

Remember, you have plenty of time till the auction ends to ask whatever question you want, and there will always be more razors put up for auction later.

    Not so fast:

his George Wostenholm & son straight razor is in good condition. The blade doesn't show hardly any wear, but it does have a small crack in the blade { see picture }. On the front of the blade on the tang is the pipe logo and on the backside is the name GEORGE WOSTENHOLM & SON - SOLE MANUFACTURERS OF THE ORIGINAL & TRUE PIPE RAZOR. The handle is a black colored bone in very good condition. The box is in good condition. Will ship only in the continental United States.
No fault of the seller here; just a rough lesson most of us learn at some point or another.

If it makes you feel any better, I've gotten burned for bigger amounts that that myself, and I still haven't learned my lesson, because I almost bid on the same cracked razor that you bought. I think we're used to "sorting" these razors very quickly by appearance, so notes that appear in the text (like disclosure of a crack) don't activate the same parts of the brain as the visual input. Anyway, scales are nice, so not a total loss. Now you just need a Wosty with a great blade and crappy scales -- which is very easy to find!

Hey, all amma sayin' is that these days scales are way more 'spensive than blades, or a good edge on them. Ain't my fault either
