Looks good! I've not heard of the name before, but hopefully one of the other members will be able to help you.

All there really is to do is hone it up and test shave! And let us know how she shaves..!

I've heard of the Kukri Brand. They are excellent German razors. You got a good deal there. It's a perfect example where if you look for lessor known brands you can wind up with the same quality as the brands people pay a mint for.

Great! That will help convince SWMBO to let me keep it. I am always putting in what I consider to be long shot snipes. I never actually think I will win any so I don't really tell her that I do it. Well, yesterday, it happened, twice! wish me luck

Nice! Looks like great quality; worked spines are not featured on low end razors. Blade looks to have little honewear and the goldwash and etching are completely intact. Tough to clean the blade without damaging the etching though! Takes finesse. Love that little bird. Imagine what the price for a similar fancy worked spine razor stamped Henckels, Boker, or Bismarck would have ended at? You got a very high quality Solingen razor for a low price.
