Oh, I'm not thinking of buying it. I'm just trying to develop a better eye for scale materials.Hoping some of the longest-tenured members would give their best guess.

Looks like Ivory to me, although the pics have been tinkered with ( color, contrast, etc...).
To me, if a seller has to tinker with a photograph to make the item 'look better', it is best to stay away. Who knows what else he is tinkering with that he isn't telling you about.
At that asking price, he sure is proud of that razor.

Yeah , those pics looked a little strange . Enough to keep my bid below $10.00 . If I were to bid (I'm not) .
Greetings , from Dundalk , Maryland . The place where normal people , fear to go .

They look like ivory but it's hard to tell from the photos. That's the way that sellers usually describe ivory as well as ebay won't let you use the word ivory. I bought a shaving brush a little while ago from a different seller but the description of the material used was almost the same.

I tend to find this seller's photos ridiculous. I bought a razor from him a few months back because of a specific brand name that was also a family name so I was willing to take the risk. However the razor was "lost" or "stolen" and never arrived. He gave a full refund, but I will be staying away from him now.
